Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Senior Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for analyzing bidding construction projects including Civil, Marine Work, Residential, and Underground utilities. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring projects are completed within budget and on time.
Duties
Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine accurate costs
Prepare detailed estimates for labor, materials, and equipment
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to gather necessary information
Utilize construction management software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam for estimating purposes
Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction process
Maintain documentation of estimates, contracts, and change orders
Requirements
Proven experience in construction estimating and project management
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
Proficiency in using estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam
Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing from vendors
Ability to work on construction sites as needed
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field is preferred
Familiarity with contract documents and terms is a plus

$120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
