Liaison Engineer
to join our team. In this position, you will act as a Liaison Engineer between our client and the Department of Motor Vehicles. You will work on daily system interfaces with various state DMVs and build and manage their relationships. You will manage the entire process and maintain sensitive personal data. We are a workplace combining in-office and remote work to varying degrees. This role is mostly remote but requires occasional travel for in-person company events.Duties and Responsibilities:Design, implement, unit, integration testing and supporting modules developed using Java/J2EE, Perl, and Unix scripting, JavaScript, SQL, PL/SQL with relational database back-end.Perform support and maintenance tasks to address production issues.Collaborate with stakeholders, including Software Developers, Project Managers, and transportation professionals, to ensure seamless data exchange between DMV applications and systems.Lead audit requirements from various vehicle owner information providers.Facilitate and lead detailed DMV and vendor interface mapping discussions with customers and third-party system vendors.Document interface specifications, configurations, and workflows for reference and maintenance.Share expertise and best practices with team members to promote continuous learning and improvement.Monitor the owner information data received and configure software to minimize the owner’s information acquisition costs.Required Experience:3+ years' experience in Software Engineering.2+ years' experience using Java, SQL.2+ years' experience using Linux OS.1+ years' experience providing direct customer/stakeholder relationship management.Experience supporting and resolving system interface-related issues to ensure optimal performance and data integrity.Knowledge of Spring Batch/Spring Boot frameworks.Working knowledge of DPPA and PII data handling and experience ensuring compliance.Strong interpersonal skills (verbal and written).Knowledge of CA Workload Scheduling software is desired.Additional Requirements:This role requires the ability to pass DMV record review, a drug screen, and background check.This role requires the ability to monitor systems off hours and weekends.Education:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.If you feel you are qualified and want to be considered for this position, please supply the following to: 73qtn5sjexxtpo76apbsq5agaw@crelate.net, and please put the job number
