The RoleThe Workday Senior Analyst – HCM/Payroll will have responsibility for the successful implementation, integration, and customization of Workday applications from project initiation to production roll-out. The successful candidate will work closely with business owners gathering requirements, designing, delivering, and supporting business transformation using Workday in areas of Workday HCM Core, Compensation, Recruiting, Talent, Benefits, Absence Management, and Payroll.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement scalable, flexible solutions that are extensible to future business needs in Workday.

Provide high-quality Workday product support across all Workday HCM/Payroll modules.

Work with business stakeholders to identify and analyze business processes, workflows, requirements, issues and opportunities, and evaluate the potential application of new application extensions or modified technology solutions and/or business processes.

Provide subject matter expertise on key business process decisions.

Advise stakeholders on industry standards to provide suggestions to achieve clean configuration and streamlined processes.

Troubleshoot system issues, develop enhancements, recommend process changes, identify new technology capabilities and support system upgrades.

Collaborate with developers, project managers, business analysts, and quality assurance staff to ensure that they fully understand the requirements, which includes reviewing high-level technical designs and detailed testing documentation.

Ensure users take advantage of Workday best practices.

Support Workday feature release updates and enhancements.

Work in collaboration with other team members on the requirements, design specifications, development, testing, and successful deployment of integrations.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job required.

4+ years of experience with Workday HCM, with demonstrated proficiency in Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Absence Management, and Recruiting.

Experience in Workday business processes, validations, and reporting.

Experience with Windows Operating Systems (both Client and Server) and Microsoft Office Suites.

High attention to detail; elevated level of concern about keeping the platform running smoothly.

Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

Ability to work independently while keeping management informed of all activities.

Problem-solving skills are a must.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Familiarity with Workday Advanced Compensation and Payroll is preferred.

This role will be in office Tuesdays/Thursdays and work from home the other days.
