Systems Engineer - DevOps . This position will be located in Dulles, VA and will support Tactical Space Systems Division in their development and deployment of satellite ground software to customer resources. As a member of the Platform scrum team, you will engineer solutions that are aimed at (1) streamlining software development processes through automation, (2) identifying and implementing tools for cybersecure software development and automated deployments, and (3) providing detailed process documentation. This Systems Engineer will also be the EOL/EOS Process Lead for the ground software system. The software dependency list is comprised of all third party, COTS/GOTS, open-source software and associated version number incorporated into the ground software.What You'll Get to Do:Understanding the latest industry methodologies and tools for Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)Designing and guiding the implementation of new systems and process improvementsMaintaining documentation on system administration standards, best practices, and quality improvements, ensuring that Systems Administration processes, procedures, and documentation remain up-to-date and consistent with current technologiesIn the role of EOL/EOS Process Lead, the candidate will manage all aspects (creation, maintenance, process, products, etc.) of the ground system software dependencies list, coordinating with the Chief SW Engineer, Chief Architect, Confirmation Management, Software Development, DevOps and Cyber.
