As the DON, you will be a key player in shaping the nursing department's strategy, ensuring the highest standards of client care, and fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.Responsibilities:Leadership: Provide strategic leadership to the nursing team, inspiring a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Quality Assurance: Oversee the implementation of evidence-based practices to maintain and enhance the quality of nursing care.Collaboration: Work closely with others to promote interdisciplinary collaboration and achieve organizational goals.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards.Qualifications:Registered Nurse with a current and valid Indiana Registered Nursing (RN) licenseProven experience in nursing leadership, preferably as a Director of NursingStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsKnowledge of healthcare regulations and best practicesCommitment to fostering a positive and inclusive work environmentExperience:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing requiredActive RN license in the state of practiceMinimum of 1 year of experience in nursing administrationProficient knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and care plansExperience in home health or home care settings preferred
