Position Summary
The Department of Surgery, Division of Surgical Oncology at the University of Illinois at Chicago is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate. The department is seeking a highly motivated candidate, with a PhD or equivalent in Cancer Biology and Tumor Imaging or related field. A solid background in cancer research along with a strong publication record is required. The successful candidate will participate actively in the execution of research projects and ensure smooth functioning of the lab's day to day activities.Duties & Responsibilities
Design and conduct independent researchMaintain compliance with good laboratory practice including the maintenance of adequate research recordsDevelop proficiency in research techniques and problem-solving abilitiesParticipate in manuscript and grant writingBuild a publication recordCollegial conduct towards co-trainees, staff members and members of the research groupPerform other project related duties as assignedQualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
