minimum 3 years of experience working in a dental practice,
an outstanding work ethic, and a solid understanding of financial management in a dental office. Experience using dental software and dental treatment planning is a must.
Please note that only candidates with dental experience will be considered.Candidates must have knowledge of dental insurances and claims.
Superb phone etiquette is required. Responsibilities include:Addressing patient concerns and answering any questions.Assisting patients in prioritizing treatment and establishing a plan for scheduling and payment.Building trust and understanding the patient’s objectives.Conducting financial consultations with all new patients and with existing patients when new treatment plans are presented.Managing and maintaining payment options and policies for patients to uphold the practice’s financial integrity.Understanding the practice’s policy on working with dental benefit plans and educating patients on their dental benefits.Being proficient in dental software.Consistently servicing the schedule.Communicating with outside and third-party financing companies offered to patients and educating patients on available financing options.Introducing new patients to the practice by reviewing health history, explaining the doctor’s examination, and highlighting practice features.Providing treatment consultations with all new patients and existing patients when new treatment plans are presented.Greeting and checking patients in and out before and after treatment.Answering incoming calls, including new patient calls, emergencies, scheduling appointments, requesting records, and follow-ups.Performing general office duties and other tasks as required.Office hours are Mondays through Thursdays, 8 am to 5 pm.
