The Company:Build Recruitment are working on behalf of a facilities group to recruit a mobile gas engineer or mechanical engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. Our client is looking for an experienced gas engineer or mechanical engineer to provide planned and reactive maintenance across a large commercial contract covering Plymouth and Cornwall.You will be required to be part of the out of hours rota to attend emergency repairs (approx 1 week in 5, standby rates extra to the salary). A company van and fuel card are provided.
Day to Day Responsibilities:HVAC repairs and maintenancePlanned commercial maintenance in adherence to set engineering standardsReactive works including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and minor fabric repairsMinor projectsEmergency call outs
Requirements:You will need to hold your ACS gas qualificationsA level 2 plumbing qualification or aboveUnvented Hot Water SystemsOil OFTECBasic HVAC knowledge and experience - FGAS is desirableBasic fabric repair skills such as carpentry, painting, and internal and external fixture and fitting repairs
