The role's primary responsibility is providing an excellent experience for our end users and maximizing our uptime. In addition, the role is responsible for identifying opportunities to enhance the performance, efficiency, and profitability of the business through technology, managing information security risk, and contributing to strategic planning with the executive team. The IT Manager is tasked with maximizing the IT staff's individual abilities to achieve the organization's goals through training, leadership, and goal setting.Position ResponsibilitiesLeverage technology to build value. Make decisions to enhance profitability through new or improved technologies.Work with Executive team to contribute to strategic vision for the company.Communicate with business and leadership on impactful technology changes.Develop IT team and personnel.Create IT policies and procedures for the company and department.Manage data and information security risk.Negotiate with vendors and suppliers of technology equipment.Develop and maintain IT budget.Manage software licensing and IT contracts.Establish software and hardware standards.Procure standard hardware and software.Provide phone, in-person and online support to end-users.Onboard and train new employees on technology and introduce IT.Build and maintain Office 365 environment and adapt to continual changes and feature enhancements.Maintain patches and security on server and network equipment.Maintain, verify, and test backups and disaster recovery environment.Build and support network deployments in office and on our many jobsites.Automate operational tasks to increase efficiency.Inventory computers, hardware, and software.Conduct after hour upgrades and or updates to network infrastructure as necessary.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualification RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.10+ years of experience in IT or related field.Experience in troubleshooting computer, network, server, and cloud technologies.Proven leadership and strategic planning capabilities.Extensive information technology skills and knowledge of the field.Experience building and managing an IT department.Strong ability to identify and resolve computer system malfunctions and operational problems.At least 10 years’ experience with LAN/WAN, Cisco Equipment, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Office 365, Intune, VMWare, SQL, VoIP, TCP/IP, DNS, Network Security and Wireless Networking.Knowledge of programming is a plus.Compensation$120-140k per year, in addition employees may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
