Position Summary:Incumbent designs and builds system interfaces for clinical ADT, Results, Orders and other highly complex interface types, and provides strategic technical leadership as needed to drive projects forward. Provides input on coding standards and the overall strategy for data integration projects. Implements enhancement requests and maintains existing interfaces in our production environment. Provides interface engine and EMR upgrade support on a regular basis. Researches other technologies to provide reliable and proven solutions to integration needs.What It Takes to be Successful

Required Qualifications:Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skillsPositive attitude, highly motivatedBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and/or combination of education and equivalent work experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishMust be a self-starter and be able to work independently or in team settingAbility to write clean, readable, and easily maintainable code3+ years experience in healthcare IT, preferably in a hospital settingKnowledge of Epic Interoperability OptionsDemonstrated skill to work independently and to prioritize and manage a relative number of simultaneous requests and to work on tasks which may not be clearly definedExperience with Epic BridgesStrong understanding of FHIR/API/Web-ServicesExtensive knowledge of the HL7 2.x messaging standardUnderstanding and experience with Microsoft SQL ServerAdherence to internal coding and process standardsStrong understanding of the interface implementation processLeadership skills to influence decisions and move initiatives forwardAbility to manage multiple projects of various sizesAbility to work effectively with IT staff and users, internal and external to the organizationAbility to problem solve interface issues of various complexitiesAbility to translate complex concepts to a novice levelDemonstrate appropriate customer service skillsParticipate in on-call rotation to support production interfacesWilling to work occasional evenings or weekendsPreferred Qualifications:5+ years experience in healthcare IT, preferably in a hospital setting2+ years experience utilizing the Corepoint integration engineKnowledge of healthcare industry standardsUnderstanding of CA CDPH state reporting requirementsExperience integrating with HIEsExperience with scripting languages such as PowershellUnderstanding of ITILExperience using Service Now in various capacitiesConditions of Employment:
