www.ucihealth.org.Your Role on the TeamPosition Summary:SYS ADM 3 TXWhat It Takes to be SuccessfulRequired Qualifications:Must possess the skill, knowledge, and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned dutiesMust demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the jobIS: Strong knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and WINSIS: Minimum 5 years of directly related experience to Enterprise Computing as a mid to senior level staffIS: Expert working knowledge of the Windows server operating system (Windows 2003 through Server 2012)IS: Experience with enterprise file sharing services such as DFS, which includes design, management, and automation of tasksIS: Demonstrated experience with reporting services for storage capacity, user data, and growthIS: Basic understanding of ITIL methodologyIS: Ability to generate roadmaps to include SDLCExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishAbility to work under minimal supervision on projects including configurations, installation, and maintenanceAbility to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workloadAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health SystemPreferred Qualifications:Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and formsIS: Working knowledge of the UNIX OS, preferably with UNIX server administrationIS: Experience with Allscripts and/or EPIC Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systemsExperience managing Storage Area Networks (e.g., EMC, HP, IBM)Experience managing Distributed File Services (DFS), VMware services, Active Directory, CommVault Simpana backups, Orion monitoring, Exchange 2010, Lync 2013, DNS, DHCP, and basic SQL/Oracle administrationConditions of Employment:The University of California, Irvine (UCI) seeks to provide a safe and healthy environment for the entire UCI community.
