The Senior Architect is responsible for working with multiple stakeholders and guiding the architectural team during the design/construction process. Architect III will have three main customers: the Client, Discipline Design Leads, and Exyte Management team. Will interface daily primarily with internal stakeholders, including but not limited to: Project Management Team, Architects, Design Leads, QA/QC Manager, and the Architectural Discipline Lead.Explore your tasks and responsibilities
Trains and develops Architectural Designers in all processes/procedures/standards.Coordinates, guides, and oversees the team to achieve the correct technical solutions to difficult design and client problems.Reviews architectural drawings for completeness, constructability, and coordination.Collaborates with design and technical teams while supporting or leading the development of design deliverables from studies to Construction Documents, including drawings and specifications.Maintains primary accountabilities for all architectural designs, sharing design responsibility.Mentors interns and junior members of project teams.Participates in the development of office standards and procedures.Other duties as assigned.The information contained in this job description is intended to describe the essential job functions required of those assigned to this job. Minimum RequiredEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture required.Architectural License (AIA) required.8+ years of experience executing projects utilizing Autodesk Building System Software.Master’s in Architecture preferred.LEED AP with Specialty or GA (Green Associate) preferred.National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) Certificate recommended.Previous experience with large projects helpful, but not necessary.Experience with SketchUp/Formit is desirable.Experience with Design-Build a plus.Exhibit characteristics of a leader.Strong communication skills, ability to multi-task, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.Capable of enjoying the work and keeping a positive attitude in a challenging environment.Knowledgeable and productive in the Autodesk Building System Software work environment.Exhibit a professional demeanor and be a proactive problem solver.Understands Standard Installation Details, client BIM standards, industry drafting and design standards.Demonstrable proficiency with Autodesk Building Systems Software.Adept at interfacing with and aligning multiple stakeholders with diplomacy.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Get more than just a job
