Job Description:

The Human Resources Manager will lead a small HR team and oversee a range of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and benefits administration. This position reports directly to the VP of HR & Operations and plays a critical role in ensuring a positive employee experience throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of 3-4 HR professionals.

Oversee recruitment and employee relations for a 100+ employee organization.

Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.

Manage payroll, benefits, and employee development programs.

Collaborate with leadership on strategic HR initiatives, goal setting, and budgeting.

Support employees throughout the entire lifecycle, from hiring to offboarding.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.

At least 5 years of HR experience, with 2-3 years leading an HR team.

Experience in non-profit or philanthropy is a plus.

SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification highly preferred.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Proficient in HRIS/HCM systems; experience with Paycor is beneficial.

Additional Details:

Hybrid schedule: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote.

Start Date: Projected for 8/12.

Offers contingent upon passing a background check (criminal history, last 10 years).

Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM or 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM.
