racial equity, health equity, and community justice.The REACH Program works with individuals experiencing homelessness and behavioral health conditions to help them achieve stability and improved quality of life. The REACH mission is to foster community health and safety through outreach, relationship, healing interventions and systems advocacy for people who use drugs.LEAD (Let Everyone Advance with Dignity) is a collaborative project aimed at building community capacity to increase public health and safety while decreasing reliance on policing and the legal system to respond to public order issues related to drug use and sex work. LEAD provides equity-based solutions for individuals historically overrepresented in the criminal legal system.This position is critical to the LEAD project, providing engagement and intensive case management services to individuals suspected of low-level drug offenses and/or prostitution. The Case Manager will provide direct services to an active case load of approximately 25-30 individuals.What you contribute to this role – Responsibilities:Provide Outreach and Intensive Case Management services for assigned clientsEngage participants on the street and at social service provider facilities to establish a working relationship and offer servicesAssess participants for the severity of chemical dependency and housing status and determine needs for other servicesAssist participants in gaining access to a variety of funding programsAssist participants in finding housing and maintaining occupancyDevelop and maintain collaborative relationships with LEAD partnersProvide advocacy and support for participants within the criminal justice systemHelp ETS succeed in carrying out our mission through working together with other staff to transform systems of harm and inequity to create different approaches to improving community health and safety.What you bring to this role – Qualifications:Experience serving populations impacted by extreme poverty, behavioral health conditions, and mental illness from a harm reduction model of careExperience supporting and advocating for participants within the criminal justice systemStreet outreach experience providing services and resources to the populations we serveMUST LIVE IN OR NEAR SEATTLE and be familiar with the Seattle resourcesExperience working with communities involved in street-based sex workDegree related to social services or behavioral health preferredKnowledge and Skills:An understanding of racial justice and social equityAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clientsStrong interpersonal skills and verbal/written communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize workloadDependable, able to work under pressureValid WA State Driver’s License and acceptable driving record is requiredKey Benefits:Medical and Dental benefits403b Retirement Plan with employer matchEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Vacation and Sick leaveMental health leaveHolidays and one Floating Holiday per yearTo learn more about ETS, visit our website at
