YesJob Summary:We are seeking a Senior SharePoint Online Developer to join our team. This position will develop and maintain enterprise solutions for the U of U Health intranet. You will work closely with a team of Business Analysts and U of U employees to assess the needs of various business lines and develop web solutions, custom forms, workflows, and applications to help optimize efficiency.Responsibilities:Create, code, secure, and implement SharePoint applications and other related intranet solutions.Debug, test, and deploy software solutions.Architect and develop intranet-related solutions using SharePoint Online and other Microsoft tools.Create and maintain client-side and server-side solutions.Demonstrate a high degree of initiative and self-guided work.Collaborate closely with business analysts, customers, and fellow developers to design and implement solutions that align with customer requirements.Work diligently to meet deliverable deadlines.Demonstrate a strong desire to develop new technical knowledge and professional skills on a continual basis.Follow and practice organizational and current IT policies and procedures and development methodologies.Document and maintain business system solutions within SharePoint platforms.Mentor/train developers and business analysts.Participate in the team’s on-call rotation.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience). 5-8 years of experience.Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.Technical Requirements:Extensive knowledge of the SharePoint ecosystem, including lists, libraries, sites, workflows, timer jobs, web parts, WSP solution packaging, REST web services, event receivers, and the Server/Client/JavaScript object models.Experience with .NET, C#, Angular, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, SQL.Experience with Azure DevOps and Git is a plus.Ability to use, create, and maintain technological solutions in SharePoint that will increase the operational efficiency of business lines.Experience in other technology stacks including Microsoft 365 and Azure is an added bonus.Preferences:Proficient in SharePoint Framework (SPFx).Strong communication and collaboration skills.Customer-Centric Approach.Adaptability and Flexibility.Effective Time Management and Self-Management.Team Player.Project Management experience with a focus on utilizing Agile framework.Special Instructions Summary:This position may require the successful completion of a criminal background check and/or drug screen.The University of Utah values candidates who have experience working in settings with students and patients from all backgrounds and possess a strong commitment to improving access to higher education and quality healthcare for historically underrepresented students and patients.All qualified individuals are strongly encouraged to apply.
