Position OverviewThe Assurance Senior will provide leadership and be responsible for the quality delivery of services to exceed the expectations of our clients. This individual will be responsible for the development and motivation of engagement staff and provide the staff with leadership, counseling and career guidance. In addition, the Assurance Senior will review the work of staff as a quality control check and to train the engagement team on how to best serve and advise our diverse client base.

Responsibilities

Work collaboratively with staff, managers, and partners on client engagements.

Strong working knowledge of firm software and technology resources.

Strong client relationships and technical auditing/assurance skills.

Strong problem solving, organization, and detail skills.

Ability to supervise and mentor staff accountants.

Ability to assume leadership role in the firm’s assurance practice.

Serve as primary client contact for assurance engagement teams.

Requirements

Two plus years of general assurance experience, preferably with a strong understanding of US GAAP with diverse industry experience.

Strong written and verbal communications skills.

Willingness to travel to client sites when needed.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or other business related field.

Masters of Accounting a plus, CPA license or CPA eligible is preferred.

Business development experience, through targeted relationship building and client referrals, a plus.

Benefits & Compensation

The firm offers a competitive compensation & benefit package that includes four weeks of PTO and a phenomenal 401(k)/Profit Sharing Plan. The target compensation for this role includes a range (Base Pay + Additional Compensation) of $76,500 to $89,500.
