Base pay range
$25.00/hr - $30.00/hr

The HR Generalist will provide support for the firm and with additional projects as assigned. The role is essential in supporting and enhancing the HR functions within the organization.

Essential Functions:
Roles and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Assist in developing and executing personnel procedures and policies.
- Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, and contributes to the development of policies.
- Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
- Process new hires, LOAs, and terminations.
- Assists with the preparation of various HR programs and projects, including annual evaluations and open enrollment.
- Learn and maintain technical knowledge of HR software including Paycor, CultureAmp, and AwardCo to assist with various processes.
- Participate in continuous HR improvement initiatives and metrics.
- Participates on committees and special projects and seeks additional responsibilities.
- Assist Recruiting Senior Manager to identify personnel needs and develop detailed and compliant job descriptions; assist in administration of the recruiting process which includes creating job descriptions, scheduling interviews, and extending offers.
- Assist Learning & Development Manager to administer and coordinate various trainings and scheduling.
- Maintain confidentiality and accurate HR documentation.
- Handle other HR duties, as needed.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

- This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 40 pounds.
- This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, scanners, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Position Type/Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm PST.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Proficiency in HRIS and benefit management systems.
- Computer literate and proficient using Microsoft Suite.
- Experience in customer service and in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
Benefits and Compensation:
The firm offers a competitive compensation & benefit package that includes four weeks of PTO and a phenomenal 401(k)/Profit Sharing Plan. The target compensation for this role includes a range of $25.00 - $30.00 per hour dependent on experience (DOE).
