We are seeking a

Senior Staff Accountant

with a strong background in financial accounting to join our team. This role will be pivotal in ensuring timely and accurate closure of the books for our global operations. The Senior Staff Accountant will collaborate closely with finance teams in various offices located across different countries.

Fort Lauderdale, FL .

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

CPA certification preferred

Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on financial reporting and closing processes

Strong understanding of US GAAP and experience with international accounting standards (IFRS)

Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Willingness to travel occasionally to support finance teams in foreign offices

Responsibilities:

Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes for multiple entities across different countries.

Preparation of month-end financial reporting support schedules.

Coordinate with finance teams in foreign offices to ensure accurate and timely submission of financial data.

Perform reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and resolve any discrepancies.

Prepare and analyze financial statements for management review.

Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local regulations and GAAP.

Provide support for audits conducted by external auditors.

Maintenance and control of general ledger, to ensure proper classification, accuracy and completeness.

Cash and Banking transactions and reconciliation.

Provide recurring and ad-hoc financial reporting support for internal departments.

Assist in the administration of corporate administrative items (state filings, licenses,...)

Assisting in future company acquisitions.

Other responsibilities as assigned.
