The Information Technology Specialist III is a computer programmer position which consists of specialties involving research, programming, analysis and improvement of workflow processes, statistical reporting “dashboards” and database maintenance. This position is exempt from the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). The work schedule for this position is: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.The Job Responsibilities are:Developing and designing business management applicationsDeveloping, designing, and maintaining websitesDeveloping and maintaining the SQL ServerCreating statistical reports and business intelligence dashboardsPerforming other related duties as assignedThe Minimum requirements are:Two (2) years of experience in computer operations, systems analysis or programmingWorking knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio (ASP.Net, Windows Forms, etc.)Working knowledge of the development of business applications utilizing SQL databasesThe Preferred Qualifications and Skills are:Associate of Science Degree in Computer TechnologyProficiency with the C#, VB.Net and XML programming languagesProficiency with managing and maintaining Microsoft SQL Server (2012 or higher)Proficient with Microsoft PowerBi and SSRSExperience researching, analyzing, and identifying cost effective automated solutions and software to improve organizational efficienciesFamiliarity with any version of Microsoft Access / VBASpecific Skills and Characteristics:The Successful Candidate must be able to:Possess and demonstrate significant knowledge of computer programmingPossess and demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skillsBe detail-oriented, identify, analyze and solve problems independently and effectively under pressure to meet stringent deadlinesManage multiple priorities simultaneouslyBe team oriented and adaptable to changeWork effectively with all levels of staff and outside agenciesYearly Salary Range: $50,437.12 to $94,034.88 (Salary to commensurate with experience)To apply for this position, please complete and submit an application, and updated resume to: SAOJobs@MiamiSAO.com.
