The bank is seeking a

Manager (Finance Risk Management)

who will

play a key role in executing robust and proactive risk management programs, influence risk stakeholders, and enable a strong culture of risk management

that’s adaptable to a changing environment.

Take a lead role in managing the Finance division’s risk identification activities, and executing the division’s risk assessment processes. Collectively, these processes inform the division’s and enterprise risk inventory that are utilized to identify and assess risk and controls and ensure a well-managed operating environment.

Responsible for managing Finance’s business continuity program and supporting control framework, ensuring organizational resilience against threats to the organization’s operations.

Work Experience

At least 5 years of work experience

in Finance, Compliance, Audit, Legal, Risk Management, or a combination

Duties/Responsibilities

Conduct preparation activities and ongoing support for audits, credit reviews, and regulatory exams, as needed;

Interact with business partners in other risk and compliance organizations across the company (including across the lines of defense) to support identification, assessment, monitoring, and testing of potential risks and compliance requirements;

Oversee associates’ deliverables and ensure alignment with policies and standards;

Partner with functional teams across the business areas to assess the health of key risk processes, compliance requirements, functions, and controls;

Provide risk-based reporting and other information for several executive-level committees and department-wide communications;

Serve as the primary point of contact for the risk assessment and business continuity management processes and supporting control frameworks for Finance;

Serve in an advisory capacity to risk advisors in the FRM team, assisting in the execution of risk assessments and control suite work;

Utilize Fuse and other applications in support of risk assessment activities across the department.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s Degree

At least 5 years of banking industry experience with Compliance, Audit, Legal, or Risk Management focus

Experience influencing senior-level management and developing strong relationships with both internal and external partners

Experience with Google Suite

Experience with PRIME, AssessmentOne, and Tableau

Financial Risk Manager (FRM) license or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license

Knowledge of Accounting and Finance processes and practices
