Do you want to be part of an amazing opportunity? Lakeview Rehab & Nursing is a soon to open nursing home in Bigfork, MT. We are looking to find a caring and knowledgeable Director of Nursing to help us in reopening and operating this building!
In this role, you will provide clinical expertise, guidance, tools, audits, and training to help your facility develop and maintain company standards. You will ensure that systems are developed and maintained to effectively operate the facility and achieve compliance with federal and state requirements. Other responsibilities include:
Provide clinical training and education
Recruit, hire, and train competent nursing staff
Manage and evaluate nursing competency
Maintain impeccable regulatory compliance within your building
Develop policies to mitigate risk and educate staff on said policies
Revise protocols as needed to keep pace with emerging clinical best practices
Participate in QA, IDT, and psychotropic meetings
Audit facility documentation and make recommendations for improvement
Develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, and policies and procedures that are necessary for providing quality care.
Requirements:
Must be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) (required)
3 years of long-term care experience (preferred)
2-3 years of nurse management (required)
