Then join our team!We have a great opportunity for an experienced Calibration Lab Supervisor to join our team at our Santa Clara metrology laboratory.In this role you will be responsible for:Performing calibrations on a variety of test & measurement equipment.Prioritizing workflow to accommodate turn-around time goals.Managing overtime to appropriately balance customer expectations and resource efficiency.Resolving metrology-related challenges with the technical team members.Supporting periodic audits, reviewing, and evaluating warranties.Managing training & mentoring of technicians to assure technical competence across multiple disciplines.Promoting cooperation and coordination among employees to facilitate teamwork in the lab.Providing input for strategic planning of services and procedures to achieve continuous lab improvement.Managing calibration of lab standards.Providing technical support to sales teams as requested to pursue new business opportunities.Communicating with peers at other Trescal labs to coordinate team support and services.RequirementsMilitary training and experience (PMEL or TMDE or GPETE or Electronics) OR an Associate's Degree in Electronics (or related technical field) OR equivalent work experience & training.Minimum of 5 years of experience calibrating test & measurement equipment (in a commercial or military calibration lab).Experienced in calibrating several disciplines of test and measurement equipment and calibration of a variety of devices such as:RFElectronicsThermodynamicsPressureMassPhysical DimensionalMechanicalWorking knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.Good organizational skills, meticulous with details, and ability to multitask.Excellent coworker communication and mentoring skills to inspire and promote efficient productivity.Excellent client communication skills to resolve issues and promote confidence in the Trescal organization.Proficient computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Internet research, data entry, etc.Professional demeanor, dress, and leadership traits.Must have previous supervisory experience.And we would prefer:Knowledge of ISO 9000, cGMP, and General Industrial Safety Practices.Experience using calibration management and automation software.Minimum of 3 years' experience leading or supervising technicians either in a commercial or military Calibration Lab.#INDTUS
