Duties include operation of X-ray equipment, C-ARMS, preparing patient rooms and the equipment.
Practices proper radiation safety techniques on all exams performed.
Exams include all surgery, radiology cases and regular diagnostic cases.

Required Skills:Education:
High School diploma or equivalent
Graduate of AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
Graduate of a 2-year accredited school of Radiology Technology
Licensure/Certification:
Current & Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologies (ARRT) Certificate
Current & Active Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) General License
Current BLS certification
Required Experience:Required Experience:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience specific to surgical/diagnostic radiological exams
Experience using C-Arms in an Operating room
Must possess independent decision-making skills
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects
Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients and families
Ability to utilize the Electronic Health Record for patient documentation
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs quality diagnostic procedures accurately and in a timely manner.
Operates X-ray equipment, C-ARMS, prepares patient’s room, equipment, supplies and medications.
Provides patient services using imaging modalities.
Practices proper radiation safety techniques on all exams performed.
Performs all Quality control checks, as prescribed.
Maintains accurate QC logs, service records, etc.
Practices medical and surgical aseptic procedures.
Investigates promptly and follows up on unusual incidents and communicates with Manager.
Takes emergency call as assigned.
