Position Summary:Builders Vision is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Accountant to join the Finance & Accounting team and report to the Assistant Controller. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day operational, finance, and accounting activities including managing liquidity, financial accounts, and bill pay.The Finance & Accounting function manages accounting and reporting, treasury, vendor maintenance, budgeting and cash forecasting, and capital allocation across all entities of our platform. This team works with individuals and teams across the company to support our mission.Other Responsibilities:

Duties, responsibilities, and activities may evolve or change over time.Supports enterprise operations, accounting and bookkeeping, budgeting, financial reporting, and select project work.Processes grants payments and supports accurate reporting of grant activity relative to approved budgets.Administers investment transactions, including recording monthly earnings and losses for the endowment.Administers accounts payable and accounts receivable.Maintains general ledger, including completing regular close of entities, and reconciliation of accounts.Maintains organized financial records and work papers.Prepares quarterly and annual financial statements.Supports annual audit of the private foundation and supports preparation of Form 990 with external tax provider.Actively seeks opportunities to provide structure and improve operations to support the office, including outsourced providers.Assists in the development and maintenance of financial policies and procedures.Generates financial reports and analyzes business and performance trends.Assists the Head of Finance and Accounting and team members by overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget.Assists with daily office operational tasks as needed.Qualifications

Qualifications required for your success:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field (CPA a plus).Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong skills in Microsoft Excel.Experience with Sage Intacct not required but preferred.Experience working with high-net-worth individuals, asset managers, financial services organizations and/or family offices is a plus.Technical accounting and financial reporting skills.Experience with budgeting and forecasting processes would be beneficial.Strong problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.Strong time and project management skills.Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing.Maintains a high level of professionalism, integrity, trust, and confidentiality.Demonstrates strong attention to detail.Ability to work independently and in a dynamic team environment.Exhibits a can-do attitude with willingness to roll up one's sleeves as needed.
