Duties

Ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the IT storage systems that support core organizational functions;

Design, implement, and support storage systems and platforms;

Plan and manage capacity/resources related to global enterprise storage platforms;

Monitor health and analyze performance of global enterprise storage platforms;

Provide direction to peers, junior team members, or external consultants;

Apply concepts of appropriate standard methodologies and best practices;

Enforce worldwide and local security policies to ensure IT information assets are protected.

Requirements - Education & ExperienceEducation - Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or foreign equivalent.

Must have 5 years of experience in the job offered or related position.

Must have experience with all of the following:

5 years of experience with hands-on design, implementation & system administration of DELL EMC storage platforms such as PowerMax, VMAX, XTremlO, Unity, VNX, RecoverPoint, or Isilon;

4 years of experience with leading IT projects of medium to large complexity at the global and regional level;

3 years of experience managing and maintaining Microsoft Windows & Unix platforms;

Independently architecting and deploying storage solutions distributed across several datacenters;

Level 3 escalation for support and maintenance-related activities: Installation, maintenance, upgrades and break-fix support issues;

Network technologies, including VLANs, NATs, Virtual Switches, DNS & DHCP;

Data center facilities environment (rack, cable, power).

Travel ExpectationsUp to 10% domestic travel required. Role permits full-time remote work throughout the U.S.
