ProSidian Seeks a Personnel Assistance Disability Support Coordinator (PAS2) [Key Personnel | Program Manager - Non-Exempt 874-1 Consultant] located across the US to provide Energy/Power Sector related Management And Operations Solutions for Personal Assistant Services (PAS) on behalf of US Department of Energy (DOE). These services are considered part of The ProSidian Energy, Infrastructure, And Environment Sector Group with overall focus being Energy, Infrastructure, And Environment (EIE) Sector Group: Tailored Solutions To Meet Global Needs And Manage Resources across Energy, Infrastructure, And Environment In A Changing Environment.JOB OVERVIEWWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Coordinator to provide essential assistance to employees with targeted disabilities within the Department of Energy (DOE). As a Disability Support Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that individuals with targeted disabilities have the necessary support to perform activities of daily living and navigate their work environment effectively. Your contribution will empower employees to thrive in their roles and contribute to the agency's mission.RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIESProvide personal assistant services (PAS) to employees with targeted disabilities, assisting them with activities of daily living during work hours and work-related travel.Aid in tasks such as eating, drinking, dressing, toileting, transferring, walking/mobility, and more, as required.Assist employees in and out of restroom stalls, vehicles, mobility devices, and workstations.Accompany employees with service animals or guide them through the facility.Operate assistive technology software applications and provide guidance on their use.Provide sighted guidance and assistive services to individuals who are blind or have low vision.Read aloud technical and non-technical documents, offering careful enunciation and pacing.Assist with lifting, carrying, packing, unpacking, and retrieving items as needed.Support employees with clothing, eating, and other PAS tasks on a case-by-case basis.Maintain confidentiality of interactions, materials, and sensitive information.Collaborate with a core group of Personal Assistants to ensure consistent and effective support.Submit accurate and timely monthly and quarterly reports detailing services provided.QualificationsDesired Qualifications For

| Key Personnel | Program Manager - Non-Exempt 874-1 Consultant Candidates:At least two years of related professional work experience or equivalent combination of experience and related credentials.Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds and perform physical movements like bending, kneeling, climbing, and reaching.Proficiency in using assistive technology software applications such as ZoomText, JAWS, Kurzweil, and Dragon Naturally Speaking.Cultural sensitivity and experience working with people with disabilities.Ability to adapt to emergency and short-notice requests for assistance.Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom.Demonstrated ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in a work environment.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Experience working with individuals who are blind or have low vision is a plus.REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIESMinimum of two years of experience working with people with disabilities in a professional environment (e.g., academic, government, medical).Familiarity with DOE software applications and assistive technology software.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products and communication tools.Experience with providing sighted guidance and support for individuals who are blind or have low vision.Completion of all DOE required trainings for Contractors.Skills RequiredThe role will operate under the DOE's security clearance requirements.Successful completion of requisite Security and Privacy Awareness Training is mandatory.This is a one-year contract with the possibility of four additional one-year options.PAS services will be provided between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. and may extend from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on weekdays.Reporting of services, cancellations, and other performance metrics is required on a monthly and quarterly basis.Competencies RequiredU.S. Citizenship Required - You must be a United States CitizenExcellent oral and written communication skills (This employer participates in the e-Verify program)Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe)Other DetailsWork products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria.
