Our current Center Director will be leaving on September 6th, so we are looking for a new Child Care Center Director at Wee Care Day Care to fill this upcoming open position!

Requirements:
Education in Early Childhood Education (at minimum a WA State Certificate)
Management experience in childcare with the ability to multitask, problem solve, and develop and lead a successful team and center
Successful experience in developing relationships with children, families, employees and community partners
Knowledge and experience in state licensing standards
Knowledge and experience in the Early Achievers program
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Oversee all operations within the child care center
Maintain compliance with state licensing requirements
Oversee the implementation of the CACFP food program
Maintain accurate family and employee required paperwork and database management
Communicate with necessary agencies such as licensing and Early Achievers
Orientate new staff and provide tours for new families
Monitor implementation of curriculum in the classroom (Creative Curriculum)
Monitor classroom practices, room arrangement, lesson plans, daily schedules, routines and transitions and provide support as needed
Identify and prioritize materials needed in the center
Develop and implement procedures to improve child outcomes, parent involvement, and staff professional development
Establish positive relationships with families and provide community resources for families in need of resources
Ensure that files and documentation are complete, accurate, and confidentially maintained
