Make a difference every day!Job DescriptionPlease note: the location of this role is Los Angeles.Your Role:The Real Estate Credit Analyst will begin their career through exposure to all of Invesco Real Estate’s Credit business lines and multiple asset classes where they will have the opportunity to work on deals and transactions alongside incredibly talented professionals that are driving the success of IRE’s business, client relationships, and industry footprint. Analysts will receive hands-on exposure and training to all facets of the business, in addition to developing professional skills and networking across the organization as well as the industry. The Real Estate Credit Analyst will support the originations and/or the capital markets teams in analyzing new transactions, supporting the underwriting and due diligence process, and gain exposure to every stage of the loan originations and asset management process.This role is a two-year position in IRE’s analyst program. The analyst will have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of real estate debt transactions including new debt originations, including first mortgage and mezzanine loans, preferred equity, and construction loans, acquisition of legacy loans, restructurings and modifications, and recapitalizations.What you would be responsible for:As part of a team, identify, underwrite, price, structure and close single asset and portfolio loan transactions.Provide transactional support as required to the originations and capital markets teams, including loan and real estate asset underwriting, due diligence, deal structuring and deal execution.Prepare and update property and portfolio level financial models in Excel and/or Argus for existing and prospective investments, including sensitivity analysis.Participate in internal and external client meetings, the negotiation of contracts and other agreements, and due diligence meetings.Communicate and develop recommendations for 3rd party providers and clients.Support the preparation of written analysis and evaluations of investment opportunities.Travel to various domestic markets/locations

Other responsibilities as assigned.Experience you bring:Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting or a related discipline. Graduation date must be between December 2024-May 2025.Excellent academic background with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and above. GPA of 3.5 and above preferred.Some prior related work experience preferred, including relevant commercial real estate, banking or other finance internship experience.Strong analytical/quantitative and technical abilities, organizational skills, and attention to detail.Strong leadership, initiative, and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.High energy with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in common Adobe and Microsoft Applications (Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Demonstrated experience with financial modeling in Excel required.Understanding of basic finance concepts and how to calculate metrics such as internal rate of return, and net present value/discounted cash flow analyses.Familiarity with Argus Enterprise is a plus.Must be willing to work on-site full-time.The pay for this non-exempt position in Los Angeles is approximately $95,000 per year. The total compensation offered for this position includes salary and incentive pay and will vary based on skills, experience, and location.Full Time / Part Time:
