Location: Culver City, CaliforniaPlayStation Productions is seeking a Manager to work in its film and television department. Our ideal candidate has in-depth experience developing and producing both the feature and television space, live action and animation. The ideal candidate for this role must have a deep passion for PlayStation, film and TV, as well as a strong business acumen and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and organizations.RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee multiple projects in development and production, as well as a high volume of submissions and meetingsRead, analyze and generate notes for projects in all stages of productionCollaborate with the legal department to ensure that all agreements and contracts are in placeAttend and participate in creative meetingsEvaluate and meet with new writers, directors, producers, and actors for use in PlayStation projectsParticipate and run the annual budget for PlayStation ProductionsMentor and guide junior creative team members and assistantsStay current on industry trends and developments; continuously looking for new and innovative ways to develop and produce feature films.QUALIFICATIONS

BA/BS Degree5+ years of working as an executive in a studio or within a production companySuccessful track record and expertise working in film and TV development and productionAccredited experience with a film and/or TV seriesEstablished connections and network within the film and TV industryConfident in locating, cultivating and formulating ideas for new talentExperience in effectively communicating with executives and members of the creative groupSkilled in handling multiple tasks and ability to work within a fast-paced environmentEqual Opportunity Statement:Sony is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
