TESCO's unique ability to manufacture custom solutions and design and commission equipment, power and control systems provides clients with well-designed systems that work as intended.Job Summary:In this position you will be designing, configuring, testing, commissioning, and supporting distributed telemetry networks related to Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Systems. Our work encompasses complex and challenging projects that will continually strengthen your technical skills.Essential Functions:Design, test document, update and configure system hardware, communications, telemetry, and operating systems softwareIntegrate, test and manage networking and telemetry equipment including radios, routers, firewalls, switches, modem, and protocol convertersDevelop internal guides and documents pertaining to the configuration and maintenance of equipmentConfigure, test, and monitor TCP/IP based protocols such as Modbus TCP, EthernetIP, and DNP3Configure, test, and monitor serial telemetry protocols such as Modbus and DF1Assist with field work related to radio surveys and generating feasibility study documentationRequirementsEducation and Knowledge:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or similar field of studyOperating Systems: Windows, Linux, Cisco IOSProtocols: TCP, UDP, ARP, STP, TFTP, SNMPRadio propagation theory and wireless network designExperience:Entry level position, requires 0-3 years' experienceExcellent communication skills; both written and verbalValid California Driver's LicenseTesco Controls is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
