Salary Range : $21.00 - $23.00 HourlyThe Account Payable/Receivable Office clerk is responsible for day-to-day activities for accounts payable/receivable and other accounting functions as needed. Additionally, this position works to ensure the administration office runs in a smooth and efficient manner by making sure all accounting paperwork is filed each work week.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Specifically, the responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following activities:Assist with check run preparation, including filingFiling for A/P, A/R, and Credit MemosPick up depositsComplete bank and post office runsOpen and distribute company mail, interoffice transmittals, and invoicesPrepare checks for mailingKeep office organized and presentablePost vendor invoicesPost daily cash salesProcess customer credit memosOther tasks as neededREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Prior experience working in accounts payable and receivable and/or an Associate’s degree in business or related field.Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of programs; strong proficiency in Microsoft ExcelProficient in automated financial and accounting reporting systems, including Business Central preferredKnowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting PrinciplesStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.WHAT FIRESTONE WALKER OFFERS:An excellent benefits package including:Competitive salary commensurate with experience and knowledge100% paid premiums for employee including medical, dental, vision, & life insuranceAccrued PTO (rate of 13 days per year)Paid Sick Leave401(k) retirement plan including company paid profit sharing & 4% safe-harbor matching10 paid holidays per year50% off employee discount on food, beer, and merchandisePeriodic beer giveaways for employees 21+FSA plan to save tax money on out of pocket medical and dependent care expensesInclusive company culture that values and develops our employeesPlease submit your resume with your work experience when applying.
