SUMMARY
Edge Autonomy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aero/Mechanical Engineer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the design, analysis, and manufacturing of composite structures. This role requires a deep understanding of the entire design process, from initial concept to part completion, and the ability to work with advanced materials and manufacturing techniques.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The following are a non-exhaustive list of qualifications for the position:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a lead role.
Strong experience with both manual and automated testing, particularly in embedded systems or autopilot software.
Experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis, particularly in software-related system failures.
Proficiency with QA tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestRail).
Strong understanding of SQA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to lead and mentor a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
ISTQB Certification or equivalent.
Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages.
Experience in testing embedded systems, autopilot software, or complex software systems used in uncrewed systems.
In-depth knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, with a focus on autopilot and embedded systems.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide a team of testers.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues effectively, particularly in the context of autopilot software and incident investigations.
Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a team.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
QUALIFICATIONS
