Our programs give you the ability to work with highly successful, established agents and managers who assist you in developing a clientele. New York Life provides the resources and ongoing support you would expect from a Fortune 100 company.Responsibilities:Develop and implement tailored financial plans using our array of services while considering each client’s financial needs and life circumstances.Help clients implement financial recommendations such as life insurance, savings plans, mutual funds, and other financial products.Network within your community, build relationships.Understand the needs and financial concerns of clients.Assess clients' potential life and financial needs and create and implement an individualized plan that can include investment solutions and protection solutions.Educate clients on how to plan ahead for the future financially so that they are prepared for unfortunate life events/ circumstances they may encounter.Promote customized ways for clients to achieve their long-term financial goals.Cultivate relationships with a view to helping every family member or individual pursue financial security.Build and expand your practice by establishing professional networks and prospecting for new clients.Implement social media and other marketing strategies to identify and seek prospects so you can foster strong, long-term relationships.Provide compassion and guidance to clients when unfortunate life circumstances arise.Focus on developing and maintaining long-term bonds with clients, resulting in trust and continuity of community over time.Increase your knowledge within the financial industry and achieve specializations following the New York Life training curriculum.Qualifications:Candidates need to be able to communicate complicated concepts and maintain strong principles such as honesty and integrity.Must have effective relationship management skills.Ability to successfully network to prospect new potential clients is a must.Must possess uncompromising integrity.Growth mindset, this is a lifelong learning position.An enterprising spirit is a trait for success.Sales experience is strongly preferred.Desire to make a change and help people as you grow your career.Ability to engage your community and leverage personal networks and contacts.Coachable and willing to learn is a must.Valid FINRA Series 6 or 7 & 63/66 preferred but not required.Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a similarly related field. Work/Business experience can be substituted for a college degree.Customer service, Sales, Educational, or Consulting experience a plus.Compensation: $100,000+ commission at plan.
