You will perform various Imaging procedures at UHN with an opportunity to be trained in Level three CT at two sites.DutiesPerforms CT procedures, some General Radiography (when needed), and digital quality assuranceCommunicates with team members and management personnelParticipates in professional development, teaching and educational activities, and mentoringThis position requires a rotation to another UHN site, to be determined.Minimum RequirementsRegistration with the CMRITOPrevious General Imaging experienceCompletion of a BCLS program, Level II: Basic Rescuer certificationOne (1) year recent experience in related area of responsibility, requiredCurrent experience (within the last 5 years) in computed tomography, requiredAbility to demonstrate sensitivity towards patients in a challenging situationDemonstrated strong technical skills and image qualityKnowledge of basic anatomy and pathologyEffective time management skills, ability to organize work, and set prioritiesAbility to work accurately under stressful conditionsAbility to work effectively and efficiently in a fast paced environmentAbility to multi-task and work effectively in a supportive team environmentExcellent problem solving and recognition skillsCommitment to continuing educationExcellent teaching skillsDemonstrated good work performance and attendance historyStrong written and verbal communications skillsPrevious Level 3 CT experience or willing to be trained up to a Level 3 CT, preferredMembership with the CAMRT, preferredCompletion of certified injection course, preferredCurrently enrolled in the CTIC offered by the CAMRT, preferredIn addition to working alongside some of the most talented and inspiring healthcare professionals in the world, UHN offers a wide range of benefits, programs and perks.
