About the Role:

LHH has partnered with a leading organization in Los Angeles, CA, to find a skilled and motivated Network Administrator for a contract-to-hire opportunity. As a Network Administrator, you will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our client’s IT infrastructure, ensuring the security, reliability, and efficiency of their network systems. You will work closely with the IT team to support day-to-day operations and drive strategic network initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Network Maintenance:

Manage and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.

Security Management:

Implement and monitor network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems, to protect sensitive data.

Troubleshooting:

Diagnose and resolve network issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and disruptions.

Configuration and Deployment:

Configure routers, switches, and other network devices, ensuring proper setup and integration within the existing infrastructure.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures.

Collaboration:

Work closely with other IT professionals to support projects, upgrades, and system implementations.

User Support:

Provide technical support to end-users, addressing network-related inquiries and issues.

Performance Monitoring:

Continuously monitor network performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements.

Qualifications:

Experience:

3+ years of experience as a Network Administrator or similar role.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency with networking technologies (Cisco, Juniper, etc.), firewalls, VPNs, and network monitoring tools.

Certifications:

CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or similar certifications preferred.

Problem-Solving:

Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Communication:

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
