This position serves as a Salesforce Lead Analyst for the Department of Innovation and Technology, performing professional applications functions in Salesforce System Administration. In this role you will perform assignments including configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of the Salesforce platform. This individual will work closely with functional leaders and experts to identify and develop new business requests, translating those into Salesforce configuration support and best practices, establishing fields and field values, and maintaining data. Additionally, this role involves leading staff on releases from the vendor and communicating updates to internal team members and system users. Essential Functions

Under immediate supervision, serves as Salesforce Lead Analyst for the Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT), performing complex professional and advisory Salesforce System Administration functions.Serves as a Project Lead.Serves as designated lead worker.Keeps abreast of new developments in the Information Technology field.Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.

Minimum Qualifications

Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to four (4) years of college with coursework in computer science or directly related fields.Requires three (3) years of professional experience in Application Services or a directly related field.

Specialized Skills

Requires three (3) years of professional experience supporting and maintaining the Salesforce platform.Requires three (3) years of professional experience in Salesforce Administration.Requires three (3) years of professional experience with Salesforce.com best practices and functionality.Requires three (3) years of professional experience in data management.

Preferred Qualifications (In Order of Significance)

Three (3) years of professional experience supporting and maintaining the Salesforce platform.Three (3) years of professional experience in Salesforce Administration.Three (3) years of professional experience with Salesforce.com best practices and functionality.Three (3) years of professional experience in data management.Three (3) years of professional experience designing and implementing new processes and facilitating user adoption.Three (3) years of professional experience utilizing engineering skills with Eclipse, Java SE & EE (Java, JSF, SQL)Extensive knowledge of agile SDLC methodologies.Ability to analyze data logically and exercise sound judgment in defining and evaluating problems of an operational or procedural nature.Ability to gain and maintain effective working relationships with associates, vendors, clients and others.Certification in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Salesforce.com Admin (ADM201 and ADM211) or Developer.
