The ideal candidate will have a background in selling Fluid Power and/or Power Transmission products to Industrial Supply distributors.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop relationships and sales opportunities with new and existing partnersProvide training and routine meetings with Distributors and users within the defined territoryProvide first level technical support to our partnersRoutinely log customer activity, opportunities and contact information within Salesforce CRMCollaborate with Product Managers in development of campaigns and new products for industry requirementsCollaborate with Operations to bring supply chain and inventory in line with the forecasted demandCollaborate with the Customer Experience team for quotations, RGA's and customer feedbackKnowledge and Skill Requirements:Bachelor's degree in business administration or marketing preferred.3-5 years' experience in Distribution sales or Business DevelopmentProficient in Microsoft Office, i.e. Excel, Power Point, and WordExcellent inter-personal and communication skillsStrategic planning and project executionCapable of managing a variety of stakeholder relationshipsFlexible in approach and prepared to work outside normal working hours if requiredExperience with CRM software is preferred50%-75% travel requiredMust have a valid driver's licenseMust be able to work in the USCompetenciesHunter mentalityDetail orientedMechanical aptitudeAbility to build relationshipsInfluence, Negotiation and ImpactPlanning and organizingCommunicates effectivelyKey BehaviorsAre accountable to othersHave the courage to challenge the status quoAble to be innovative problem solverAre engaged with team membersAdd value to the CompanyExpects excellence of self and othersOverserves top customersUnderstands, simplifies and acts to improve processesPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
