The Lead/Senior Consultant, Organizational Effectiveness (OE) is a subject matter expert and reports to the Director, HR Business and Organizational Effectiveness. The Lead/Senior Consultant, OE is responsible for managing Cheniere’s employee core and leadership talent development programs. The Lead/Senior Consultant, OE considers external trends alongside internal needs by partnering with Human Resources Business Partners (HRBP) to drive talent development throughout the organization. Through partnership with the HRBPs, the Lead/Senior Consultant will use organizational effectiveness methodologies to improve organizational performance and engagement.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Design, develop, and implement employee core and leadership development programs based on Cheniere’s Talent Development strategy.

Participate in the development of Cheniere’s Talent Development strategy.

Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to develop and execute action plans to improve employee engagement.

In partnership with HR Business Partners, assess, diagnose, and recommend solutions to mitigate and resolve organizational, team, and individual problems/risks/issues.

Continually assess existing programs and practices to streamline and reduce manual administrative tasks.

Ensure that employee development programs and course materials are developed on time, are kept current, and incorporate new information, internal strategy needs, and training effectiveness reports.

Support organizational development initiatives such as coaching, team development, change management, and/or organizational design.

Provide guidance, consulting, and learning development expertise throughout the organization.

Strong knowledge of and ability to apply organizational development theory and principles for the design, development, and delivery of effective organizational, team, and individual interventions. Strong working knowledge of diverse change management techniques. Ability to understand and interpret key performance indicators (KPIs), performance metrics, and measurement strategies.

Skills:

Demonstrated ability to utilize change management techniques in various situations.

Demonstrated ability to develop, evolve, and manage employee and leadership development programs.

Must be able to take complex material and translate it into understandable language.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Education, Training, and Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, related business, or other technical discipline required. Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Training, Business (Management), or Organizational Development preferred. Birkman, Franklin Covey, and/or Prosci certifications are a plus.

Experience:

Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive experience in organizational development in fast-paced, matrixed environments. Experience working with/applying best practices as a foundation to building talent development strategies, organizational, team, and individual interventions. Must have experience utilizing diverse change management methodologies. Must have strong organizational effectiveness experience supporting operational facilities.

Ability to multi-task and function in a highly dynamic atmosphere; must exercise discretion independently.

WORK CONDITIONS

Job is performed in a typical office environment but is subject to time pressures and constraints, and is often dependent on input from others.

Occasionally, work may be performed from home, after normal work hours, or on weekends. Subject to drug and alcohol testing, per applicable federal regulations or as required by Cheniere.
