The Vice Chancellor is a member of the Chancellor’s executive leadership team and provides leadership and oversight for the functions of finance, bursar, administrative services and auxiliary services (food services and facility leasing/rentals) for the Fort Wayne Service Area. This role is responsible for service area budget management as well as the integrity of all financial records and fiscal compliance relevant to college policies and procedures. Finance and Budgeting:

Directs and provide financial oversight of campus financial operations including fiscal planning, budget development and control, financial accounting, cash management and accounts receivable, grant accounting, payroll, purchasing, travel and fixed assets inventory.Directs all financial and accounting activities of the campus in accordance with guidelines set forth by the College’s Chief Financial Officer and Finance Policy.Plans, prepares, and administers annual operating budget including miscellaneous revenue, personnel salaries and fringe benefits, supplies and expenses, travel, utilities, lease and capital budgets.Works closely with Human Resources for annual salary planning.Ensures adherence to all College budget, financial, and procurement policies and guidelines as well as applicable State statutes related to Public Works and Capital projects.Provides campus financial analysis, reporting and interpretation, and maintains necessary budgetary controls.Ensures integrity of all financial, accounts receivable and fixed asset information for the campuses.Oversees procurement processes at the campus level in accordance with the College procurement policies.Oversees financial accounting of third-party contracts/grants from government agencies in conjunction with System Office Sponsored Program Accounting staff.Works collaboratively with campus development staff on grant budgeting, grant accounting and strategic utilization of campus foundation resources.Manages and coordinates special projects as assigned by the Chancellor.Works with the Executive Director of Facilities to evaluate capital, R&R and parking projects, needs to plan for and identify capital improvement funding sources. Along with the Executive Director of Facilities, ensures projects and related contracts are appropriately approved and constructed within budget.Oversees auxiliary facility rental agreements, leases and appropriate accounting including Unrelated Business Income accounting and reporting.Supervision, Teams and Skills:

Serves on the chancellor’s executive leadership team (Cabinet). Attends campus cabinet meetings and leads campus budget meetings. Works in partnership with cabinet members to further the service area and college strategic plans.Provides supervision and leadership to the finance and facilities department leads.Maintains consultative and collaborative working relationships with appropriate staff, faculty, and committees in program, policy and procedure development, policy application and interpretation.Develops and maintains positive working relationships with systems office leadership and staff.Participates in campus and statewide committees as needed or appointed.Attends Campus Board of Trustee meetings as needed to present pertinent financial or facilities information and resolutions.Demonstrates strong attention to detail and can develop accurate written materials.Uses effective verbal and written communication skills and adapts communication style to suit different audiences.Facilitates continuous improvement and effective change management.Demonstrates ability to promote an inclusive environment that reflects the broad diversity and backgrounds represented by our students and employees in which every individual feels respected and valued.Demonstrates strong customer service and student advocacy through a positive attitude of approachability, adaptability, strong problem-solving, and desire to identify and support student success.This is not to be construed as an exhaustive list. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.7+ years related experience.Three years supervisory experience.Preferred Requirements:

Master’s degree.Minimum of five years of experience in higher education at an accredited institution.Other Requirements:
