The Appraisal QC Analyst is responsible for the completion of quality control and review of appraisal or alternative valuation products completed on residential real estate throughout the U.S.; reviewing documents for completeness, content, and accuracy. This includes day to day interactions with vendor partners to address quality deficiencies in individual reports. Perform all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.
Responsibilities:
Complete proprietary quality control on appraisal or alternative valuation products including, but not limited to traditional and hybrid appraisals, BPOs and proprietary valuation forms.
Complete review of quality control escalation files and work to resolution.
Direct engagement with vendor partners via phone or electronic means in order to clearly summarize revision requests.
Review property valuation and inspection reports for completeness and accuracy.
Escalate complex files to the appropriate internal associates.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of the residential real estate market.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, etc.
Ability to understand complex problems and to collaborate and explore alternative solutions.
Ability to make decisions that have moderate impact on the immediate work unit.
Ability to organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology.
High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
2-5 years of real estate valuation experience, preferably in a review role or acting as a trainee appraiser.
