The Director of Content and Creative is responsible for leading the internal content and creative services team in the delivery of persuasive, engaging and memorable creative concepts supporting LocumTenens.com's products and services. This role will play a pivotal role in driving our brand narrative forward and ensuring that our content resonates with our target audience. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and a passion for creativity and storytelling.Essential Functions and Basic Duties

Team Management - 60%

Lead content and creative team to develop compelling, engaging, and on-brand content across various platforms.Collaborate within marketing team and with sales and recruiting teams to ensure alignment of content initiatives with overall business goals and objectives.Work closely with the marketing team to integrate content into broader marketing campaigns and initiatives.Manage team of writers and designers, own relationship with freelance and contract workers.Conduct brainstorming sessions with creative team, maintaining strategic thinking to develop innovative and actionable initiatives.Review and approve art and copy developed by the team, ensuring that deliverables address marketing goals and challenges effectively.Produce fresh, innovative work that translates complex ideas into compelling print materials and digital experiences for sophisticated audiences.

Content Creation - 20%

Spearhead and manage content strategy for both small and large projects, harnessing brand design, copy, art, and digital technology.Oversee the development of written, visual, and multimedia content, ensuring it adheres to brand guidelines and resonates with our audience.Identify content gaps and opportunities for innovation to drive awareness, engagement, and conversion.

Creative Direction - 20%

Lead creative team to develop and implement a strategic vision for projects and overall brand.Supervise creative process and guide team.Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in content marketing and creative design.

Qualifications - Education, Work Experience, Certifications

9+ years of B2B and B2C marketing and/or marketing operations management experience.Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.Proven track record of developing and executing successful content strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversion.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Passion for storytelling, creativity, and innovation, with a keen eye for detail and design.Project management and advanced organizational skills.Excellent communication skills - both oral and written.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.What is in it for you
