SUMMARY
A commercial construction company in Braselton, GA, has an opening for a Senior Estimator. We seek candidates with extensive experience in ground-up new construction (specifically Restaurant, Fuel Station/Convenience Store, and Retail) and interior construction (Big-Box Retail, fast-paced projects, multi-site Retail programs, renovations, interior buildouts, tenant improvements, and open store remodels).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Create estimates and detailed take-offs for each project, develop costs, and analyze subcontractor proposals.
Negotiate with subcontractors to ensure the full scope of work.
Maintain a cost database for labor and material pricing.
Lead Preconstruction team through estimating, proposal, and value engineering processes.
Work with clients to value engineer projects within their budget.
Mentor Junior Estimators and assist with training.
Understand contractual terms and requirements.
Enhance relationships with clients, architects, and engineers.
Follow company policy, processes, and procedures.
Collaborate with the Operations Team and prepare documentation for project turnover.
Education and Experience:
Five years or more of proven experience as a Senior Estimator in commercial construction with a General Contractor.
Extensive estimating experience in Retail interior construction and ground-up new commercial construction.
Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
Familiarity with Estimating software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
Strong communication, negotiation, organizational, and time management skills.
High proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints and specifications.
High School Diploma required; Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Additional Requirements:
Corporate Office position based in Braselton, GA.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Background, pre-employment, health screening assessment, and reference checks are conducted.

$90,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
