As a

Business Dev Manager

you are primary responsibility for prospecting for potential clients using multiple methods (calls, meetings, networking,etc.). In this role, you will be working with our

National Sales

team and reporting to our VP of sales.

Position DutiesTerritory and Account strategyResearch clients and competitors in the territory using multiple modesDevelop account objectives and apply a sales process to penetrate new accountsCreate key account plans that identify key stakeholders, strategic motivators, buying processes and forecasted salesFill the sales pipeline with qualified opportunitiesDefine characteristics of opportunities that convert for each stageCalculate the number of opportunities needed at each stage to forecast likely sales volumes over specific time periodsDraft proposals that promote CSC's value proposition and meets client needsNegotiate contracts with new clients that achieve assigned sales targetsUse proven techniques to close dealsReport on sales activity Other duties assignedKnowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Proven ability to apply professional sales methodology (Solution Selling, Counselor Sales Person, etc.)Strong knowledge of Salesforce.com to manage accounts and opportunitiesStrong ability to create winning proposals and negotiate termsAbility to execute contracts and preserve value in client and customer proposalsExperience selling multiple product lines to different customer segmentsAbility to apply professional discovery methods to identify qualified opportunities in an accountAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, financial reports, legal documents, or governmental regulationsAbility to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manualsAbility to promptly respond to inquiries from employees, regulatory agencies, or members of the business communityAbility to work with a variety of mathematical conceptsAbility to interpret a variety of instructionsBenefits & Perks:

Valid Driver's LicenseAbility to pass pre-employment screeningHigh School Diploma or equivalent; and 3-5 years business-to-business sales (long-cycle, service)Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business preferredPrior experience managing a multi-state sales territoryPrior experience working in a developing sales function or similar scenario a plusAbility to travel extensivelyConduct sales activities with customers at the customer's place of business
