The College of Science is Purdue's second largest unit by enrollment, number of faculty, and research expenditures. The College has been expanding across all its seven academic departments and its 30 majors. Science is also central to most of the signature strategic focus areas of campus leadership, and is expanding its operational footprint to the Indianapolis location. There is a lot going on. We are looking for creative and energetic staff members to join our senior administrative team to help us press toward our goals of reputational growth and operational efficiency. Working under the direction of the College of Science Chief Operating Officer, and supporting the Associate Dean of Science Indianapolis for Undergraduate STEM Education and the Sr. Vice Provost for Indianapolis, serve as the senior operational specialist for College of Science departmental operations in Indianapolis and for academic planning support for the Indianapolis Provost's office. Partner with PIN College of Science staff to support day to day operations for the College of Science in Indianapolis.

What We're Looking For:

Education and Experience Required:Bachelor's degreeFour (4) to five (5) years of experience in operations or program management requiredPreferred:

Experience in higher educationSkills Needed:

Program managementExcellent communication (oral and written), strategic planning, problem-solving, organizational, event planning and customer service skillsComputer and related software skills (i.e., word processing, creating and maintaining databases/spreadsheets, PowerPoint, etc.)Ability to:

interpret and communicate policies and proceduresbuild relationships both internal and external to the universityinfluence parties regarding policies, practices and procedures
