Salary: $200,000 - $280,000 per year

Job Details

Our firm is seeking a talented and motivated associate to join our Labor and Employment practice group in our Boston office. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in labor and employment law, with a particular focus on FLSA class actions and appellate briefing.

  • Represent employers in complex wage and hour class actions, including FLSA collective actions
  • Draft and argue dispositive motions in federal and state courts
  • Prepare appellate briefs for cases before federal and state appellate courts
  • Advise clients on compliance with federal and state employment laws
  • Conduct internal investigations related to employment matters
  • Assist in all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, and trial preparation

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials
  • 5 years of experience in labor and employment law at a reputable law firm
  • Demonstrated experience with FLSA class actions and appellate briefing
  • Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and meet deadlines
  • Admission to the Massachusetts Bar required

Preferred Experience:

  • Clerkship experience with a federal judge
  • Experience arguing motions in federal court
  • Publication record in labor and employment law journals
