Salary: $140,000 - $150,000 per year

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial, healthcare, and hospital construction. You will be responsible for leading and managing large scale construction projects from inception to completion. This role is perfect for someone who is comfortable with high levels of responsibility, enjoys a challenge, and has a passion for building.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation.
2. Allocate resources for assigned projects.
3. Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors.
4. Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients.
5. Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs.
6. Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications.
7. Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
8. Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
9. Analyze, manage and mitigate risks.
10. Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
11. Manage project budget and ensure the project is completed within the budget.
12. Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior Project Manager or in a similar role in construction management.
3. Proven experience in commercial construction, healthcare construction, and hospital construction.
4. Demonstrated understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles.
5. Proficient in construction management software programs.
6. Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
7. Excellent knowledge of construction contract types and contract negotiation.
8. Understanding of construction law.
9. Strong leadership and management skills.
10. Excellent problem-solving abilities.
11. Superior organizational and planning skills.
12. Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
13. Experience with design-build and subcontracting.
14. Excellent knowledge of relevant rules and regulations as well as quality standards and human resources.
15. Conflict resolution and conflict management experience.
16. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
17. Ability to work in a team.
18. Proficient in MS Office and ability to use project management software.
