An established law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic team. This is an exceptional opportunity for individuals who are passionate about the legal field and are looking to further their career in litigation. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, and have a proven track record in hearing and trial preparation.

Responsibilities:

As a Litigation Paralegal, you will be an integral part of our legal team, providing support to our attorneys in the preparation and execution of litigation cases. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Assisting attorneys in the preparation for hearings, trials, and meetings, ideally in defense civil litigation matters.
  2. Conducting legal research and factual investigation.
  3. Drafting pleadings, motions, and appellate documents.
  4. Reviewing, organizing, and analyzing complex legal documents.
  5. Coordinating the collection, review, and production of documents.
  6. Liaising with clients, court officials, and other legal professionals.
  7. Managing case files and maintaining case calendars.
  8. Ensuring the efficient and organized storage of all case documents.
  9. Assisting in the development of case strategies and trial themes.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
  2. Proficiency in hearing and trial preparation.
  3. A paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program or equivalent legal qualification.
  4. Strong knowledge of federal and state court rules and procedures.
  5. Excellent research and writing skills.
  6. Proficiency in using legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  7. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  8. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  11. High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
