We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will become an integral part of our firm, working directly with attorneys and clients on litigation matters. Responsibilities:

As a Litigation Paralegal, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  1. Managing complex litigation matters, including the preparation of pleadings, discovery, and trial documents.
  2. Calendaring litigation deadlines and ensuring all deadlines are met.
  3. Assisting attorneys in all stages of litigation, including pre-trial, trial, and appellate stages.
  4. Conducting legal research and drafting legal documents.
  5. Coordinating with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.
  6. Reviewing and summarizing case materials, and managing case files.
  7. Preparing for and attending depositions, hearings, trials, and client meetings.
  8. Assisting in the preparation of case strategies and trial preparations.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the role of Permanent Litigation Paralegal, you should have the following qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a litigation paralegal; experience in insurance defense, defense civil litigation, construction or employment litigation is preferred.
  2. Proficiency in managing complex litigation matters.
  3. A paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program or equivalent is preferred.
  4. Strong knowledge of federal and state court rules and procedures.
  5. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Strong organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  7. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  8. Proficiency in legal research tools and software applications.
  9. The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  10. Flexibility to work overtime when necessary to meet critical deadlines.
