Job Details:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in our litigation department, assisting our attorneys in the preparation, filing, and management of various legal documents and court proceedings. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned paralegal with a passion for litigation and a desire to further their career in the legal industry.

Responsibilities:

As a Litigation Paralegal, your duties will include but are not limited to:

1. Assisting attorneys in the preparation and filing of pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
2. Conducting legal research and drafting legal memoranda on various litigation issues.
3. Coordinating and managing the e-filing process in various courts and jurisdictions.
4. Assisting in the preparation for depositions, hearings, trials, and meetings.
5. Managing case files and maintaining updated case management systems.
6. Reviewing, organizing, and analyzing discovery materials.
7. Coordinating with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other parties.
8. Ensuring compliance with court rules and procedures.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Litigation Paralegal position will possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal - strong preference for plaintiff personal injury litigation experience
2. Proficiency in e-filing in various courts and jurisdictions.
3. A bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field. A paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program is a plus.
4. Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and rules of court.
5. Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
6. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research platforms.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
11. High level of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information.
