Job Details

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Hybrid Cost Accounting Manager to join our team in the finance industry. This position offers a unique opportunity to play a critical role in our financial operations, providing vital analysis and insights to support our decision-making processes. This role is a hybrid position, necessitating both in-office and remote work, offering the best of both worlds in terms of flexibility and collaboration.

Responsibilities

As a Permanent Hybrid Cost Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for:

1. Overseeing the cost accounting function across all our operations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established accounting principles and company procedures.
2. Developing and maintaining the integrity of our financial data through regular account reconciliation.
3. Preparing and analyzing financial statements, providing a clear picture of our financial performance.
4. Implementing and maintaining robust internal controls to safeguard our financial assets.
5. Conducting forecasting and budgeting activities, providing critical input for our financial planning.
6. Leveraging your strong ERP system experience to streamline our financial processes and improve efficiency, with a particular focus on Oracle.
7. Collaborating closely with other team members and stakeholders, providing financial expertise and guidance as needed.
8. Continually monitoring and evaluating our cost accounting processes and systems, identifying opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Hybrid Cost Accounting Manager position will have:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in the engineering or manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience in forecasting, budgeting, and general ledger management.
3. Strong ERP system experience, with experience in Oracle being highly desirable.
4. Expertise in preparing and analyzing financial statements.
5. A solid understanding of internal controls and their application in safeguarding financial assets.
6. Experience in account reconciliation and maintaining the integrity of financial data.
7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
8. Strong problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
9. A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with relevant professional certifications being a plus.
